Right-click context menus allow fast access to various file management options, whereas convenient drag & drop functionality will allow you to upload new files from your PC in an instant. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to archive and unzip files easily as well.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your personal computer. The in-built drag & drop functionality will allow you to easily move files between your desktop PC and the web server. Just select the file that you want to upload from your desktop PC and then drag it to your browser window. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your hard disk. Furthermore, you can download files and even folders to your personal computer by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager interface, you can create a new file or folder with just a mouse click. All action buttons are handily positioned above the file/folder list and you can update your files without difficulty. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to another folder, explore the contents of a file or modify its permissions, delete a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager interface, you will be able to pack and extract all types of files. It works stunningly fast - just select the files you wish to pack and click the Compress button. You can even select the compression format (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract the contents of an archive to a chosen folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager, you really do not need any third-party tools in order to edit your files. There is an image viewer, which enables you to explore the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will in fact show up on your website. What's more, you will find a set of built-in file editors, which will give you full authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are designed for more experienced users, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all HTML code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced users.
